A Shinning 9!

This year was a family party year for Payton.  She went easy on me and wanted to go out to Casa Lopez on Main St.  for dinner.  We took her cute little BFF with us, and met Monty and Sue there as well.  They won for best birthday present by giving her own VISA!  She loved it!!  Payton is such a sweet kids with a large heart.  This year she has had the chance to stand up to bully at school who was picking on another little girl, I was so proud of how she handled it.  Her BFF also missed some school due to a surgery.  Payton had really wanted to go with her,  it was in Seattle so that wasn't possible but she put together a gift bag for her trip and helped with a basket for her mom.  Then she coordinated all the kids in her class signing a card for her and decorated her locker for her return.  The card was so cute and she hand wrote all of the kids names and checked them off as they signed.  She was so careful.  This kids is amazing.  She is also the BIGGEST tease in our family, and causes me to often say "PAAAYTON!!"

Her cousin Brooke knitted this snake for her.  You can put the mice down it's throat.  It is perfect for our little snake girl.

Labor Day Weekend

It's hard to believe that the summer is over, it's just now warm enough to enjoy the lake.  The Whiteheads invited us to their cabin for the day.  So we spent time on the beautiful lake with the Rigby's, Whiteheads, and Harris Families.  The food was good the lake was amazing and the company the best!

Camping

We had to get another camping trip in this year.  The kids have so much fun. Dallin had so much fun in the open area and dirt!

This time around we took Paul.  Our trusty old, gas guzzling, loud pick-up truck.  The kids favorite activity?  Driving around the camp loop singing.
I-D-A-H-O Idaho Idaho GO GO GO!  It was great and the others in the camp ground loved it too and would join in with the kids!

It’s FUN to be 1!

We celebrated with a party.  Dallin celebrated by walking!  He’s taken 2 or 3 trial steps, but today he was playing with Bishop Mosman in the foyer at church and he just took off for him making it 8-10 steps!  It won’t be long!

I had the girls draw a road and all of the kids colored on it and could drive cars.  It was a great activity to keep the girls busy while I worked on a few other things for the party like..

We opened presents and it really was fun.  The girls didn’t like new toys when they were this little.  Dallin loved everything and was so cute trying to figure out what it all was and how it worked.

I love this boy he is so snugly.  Not usually cleaning but will play and then come check in with me for a hug.
