Rosauers put together this really great cake!!
The cast: Queen Frosine, Gloppy, Princess Lolly, King Candy, and Jolly
First We printed off character cards using pictures from the Candyland web site. Nothing was left out the kids chose the card and that was the activity we did. First up was Ms Mint.
I was Ms Mint, I didn’t get a picture of my costume, and it was really great (for me that is). We blew up balloons ahead of time and put a Lifesaver mint in each. The kids simply popped the balloons to get the treat to put in their bags. It was over quick but they loved it!!
Next up was Princess Lolly. She played pin the Lolly on the stick. After everyone had a turn she gave them a lollypop for their bag.
Then Gramma Nut was drawn. She was a huge hit. She was a little nutty and lost her nuts! The kids had to hunt for peanut M&M’s and Snicker that were all over the yard. ( I froze them ahead of time so they wouldn’t melt)
These pictures don’t do her justice. Her shoes and jewlery were all made from peanut M&M’s and Peanuts!! What an amazing friend to do this for me!
Then Queen Frostine was picked. She served cake and icecream.
Jolly was BIG SUCCESS. Well it’s just as it looks. They spent over 20 minutes making these. I think they could have sat there longer if we didn’t have a few more activities planned. This was my favorite, it was so fun to see their creations!
Can you believe how big he got this???
King Candy was up and what else would the King do but a Piñata? Elyse had always wanted a Piñata and at bed time this was her favorite part!!
We did do plum relay with “plums” but I forgot to grab the camera.
Presents were a lot of fun too!
Dallin really got spoiled by the girls!!
Over all a really great day and a very happy Birthday Girl!!
